A sister for Adriena

This week I have my sister in laws little girl over because she just had a baby. Adriena is in her glory! All day long you can here their delighted little giggles . Josh is finding it a bit hard I think. He wants so badly to join them, but girls being girls...they would rather he stay away. Tonight they all three want to have a pajama party, so we will see how that goes:) Makes me remember having friends sleep around that age! Always lots of fun!

Tooth Extraction

Last night AJ pulled out Josh's tooth with a pair of pliers. He wanted me to video it but I thought it would be to traumatic for Josh, so I didn't even want to take pictures. In the end it was really no big deal. Josh lay on the couch, AJ grabbed the tooth and pulled. Only a couple loud yells from Josh and it was out. Hardly any blood either. I think maybe he was so brave because we promised him he could get a transformer if we got to pull the tooth. I am wouldn't normally give such a grand gift for losing a tooth, but his last one cost us $100. So far his two bottom teeth have come in to far behind his baby teeth to push them out. They get a bit wiggly, but not enough to fall out. Last time I took him to the dentist and three minutes later it was out. More importantly ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS later it was out. What a joke. So thats why we promised the bigger gift if we could do the deed. I picked a tranformer out last night and we shoved it under his pillow. In the morning he came to our room. I expected utter delight :) what I got was a crying boy. It apparently was NOT the transformer he wanted. Thankfully after AJ showed him how "cool" this one was the tears disappeared and he was pretty happy with the whole deal. PHEW! I just hope that his next teeth come in where they should!

new blog

well, here goes nothing. I have done the xanga thing, but for some reason don't love it. Facebook is great for day to day catch ups. This is something I want to do just to remember the little daily things that are happening in our household. I am not too sure I want tons of people reading it...I think thats what I didn't like about xanga. But its a blog and people find these things :) so if you are reading this you are welcome too, and I hope you enjoy the little glimpses into our life.
